Meet Dr. Holly Hansen, our veterinarian at North Haledon Veterinary Care. Her interests in veterinary medicine include feline medicine, geriatric medicine, and internal medicine.
She graduated from Felician College and earned her DVM degree from Tufts University's School of Veterinary Medicine. To enhance her veterinary skills, she completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship at Arboretum View Animal Hospital right outside of Chicago.
She shares her home with many, many cats. Dr. Holly claims she speaks "cat", but she absolutely loves all kinds of animals!
In her spare time, Dr. Holly enjoys the beach, music, concerts and horror movies/conventions. She also enjoys educating the public with spay/neuter importance and helping local rescues with TNR (trap, neuter, release). Dr. Holly is currently a member of the AVMA and AAFP.
Fun Fact: Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she was a medical crime scene investigator based in Newark, NJ.
